Role Overview
The Project Manager will lead large-scale public electrical infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi.
The role covers planning, approvals, utility coordination, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from planning through final handover.
- Lead authority approvals, permits, utility connections, and NOCs.
- Coordinate with TAQA Distribution, ADM, ADQCC, Civil Defense, and other authorities.
- Manage consultants, contractors, suppliers, and utility providers.
- Review designs, shop drawings, technical submissions, and schedules.
- Supervise civil and electrical works, testing, commissioning, and energization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable authority requirements, IEC standards, and UAE regulations.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Report progress, approvals, schedule, budget, risks, delays, and recovery plans.
- Conduct coordination meetings and close action items on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Seven to ten years of experience managing public electrical infrastructure or utility projects in Abu Dhabi.
- Experience delivering similar projects from concept through commissioning.
