About the Role
Currie & Brown seeks a Project Manager to deliver defence and government infrastructure projects from planning through to construction and handover. These high-security, technically complex projects require ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget delivery in compliance with defence requirements.

Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Monitor progress and ensure milestones are achieved
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, and change control
- Act as the primary interface between the client, contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships
- Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, cost managers, and contractors
- Manage project budgets and financial performance
- Review variations, claims, extensions of time, and change requests
- Support procurement activities and contract administration
- Work closely with commercial and cost management teams
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction
- Experience delivering defence, government, secure infrastructure, mission critical, or complex capital projects
- Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency with project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera

About the Role
