Responsibilities
- Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure correct equipment, material, and subcontractor services
- Maintain client relationships and deliver commercial and contracts reports
- Manage the contract lifecycle
- Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts
- Review and update existing contracts
- Explain terms and conditions to managers and relevant parties
- Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and resolve problems
- Help develop and implement Commercial Strategies
- Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
- Work with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners to meet project goals
- Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met
- Maintain organized system of physical and digital records
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Contract Manager
- Basic knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
- Excellent writing skills
- Keen attention to detail with ability to spot errors
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
