The Project Manager in Construction & Real Estate Development is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing the entire lifecycle of construction projects.
This includes project planning, budgeting, contracting, and execution to completion, ensuring all operations align with the timelines and financial guidelines.
A Project Manager in this field coordinates with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and negotiation skills are essential, as the Project Manager must liaise with various parties to ensure seamless progress and resolution of any issues that may arise.
A successful Project Manager will possess in-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety standards to guarantee high-quality and compliant project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, budgets, and resources needed.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and quality of work.
- Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Facilitate communication and cooperation among project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, real estate, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of project management experience in construction or real estate.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and project timelines effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a collaborative approach.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills are essential.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools for tracking project progress.
- Ability to assess risk and develop effective mitigation strategies promptly.
- Capability to multitask and manage several projects at varying stages simultaneously.
