Job Purpose
The Project Head is responsible for overseeing and managing civil construction activities.
The role ensures compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, quality standards, and project objectives.
Technical Management
- Provide technical guidance to design staff, supervisors, inspectors, and contractors on civil construction practices.
- Analyze civil engineering issues and formulate solutions that comply with project requirements.
- Conduct structural analysis and design for buildings across various sectors.
- Prepare and check structural calculations and review drawings under project quality procedures.
- Develop and review detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Project Documentation
- Review tenders, specifications, bills of quantities, material submittals, and shop drawings for compliance with design intent.
- Draft and issue site or engineer's instructions for civil construction works.
- Review contractors' Operation and Maintenance manuals for completeness.
Inspection and Compliance
- Conduct site inspections and periodic visits to verify civil and structural works against approved plans and design intent.
