Job overview
Provide financial insight and oversight for international clinical-trial projects in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
Support project teams and management with financial analysis, revenue recognition, margins, forecasting, and profitability information.
Remote working arrangements will be considered.
Main responsibilities
- Calculate revenue recognition using a Cost to Complete methodology and report project movements to senior management.
- Maintain accurate project financial records in accordance with GAAP.
- Provide project information and margins to finance for revenue recognition.
- Deliver project analysis during monthly project reviews and identify issues affecting project results.
- Develop solutions to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
- Enter budgets and project information into financial accounting systems and analysis files.
- Serve as a financial resource to project managers and other project team members.
- Provide project financial training and respond to project information requests.
- Support internal, external, and SOX audits and answer audit queries.
- Monitor project revenue, gross profit, forecasted hours, closeouts, and reconciliations.
