High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
2+ years as a Paramedic, preferred.
State-licensing or certification as a Paramedic.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Strong Paramedic skills in all areas including airway management, I.V. establishment, and subcutaneous injections.
Strong interpersonal skills required
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, management and physicians in a professional and credible manner
Ability to effectively manage multiple complex tasks
Ability to effectively manage emergency medical situations
Ability to learn and apply study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), site SOPs, Standing Orders, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Work is performed in a laboratory and/or a clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
Occasional drives to site locations, occasional domestic travel.
Exposure to biological fluids.
Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments and gloves.
