Project Finance Analyst

Role Overview

Role Responsibilities

• Support bankers with underwriting commercial credit extensions for new and existing clients.
• Prepare credit summaries, analyze businesses and finance needs, identify risks, and render credit decisions.
• Perform company, individual, guarantor, and co-borrower financial analysis to assess repayment capacity.
• Conduct industry, geographic, and other due diligence research.
• Maintain product knowledge and compliance with credit, regulatory, and internal policies.
• Assess risk, protect the firm and clients, and transparently manage and escalate control issues.

Experience and Education

• 2–5 years of relevant project finance experience involving funding large infrastructure projects.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• A degree in Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, Business Finance, Mathematics, or another quantitative field.
• Previous credit risk management experience or equivalent training is preferred.
• MBA in Finance, CA, or CFA is listed under education.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and diplomacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangement

• The role is hybrid and based in Mumbai, India.
