Key skills for this role
You are a collaborative and results-driven logistics and project management professional who understands how to connect program requirements with Global Sustainment capabilities to deliver successful outcomes. You are comfortable working across Centers of Excellence (COEs), program teams, engineering, operations, functional organizations, and mutliple customer organizations to align priorities, resolve issues, and ensure commitments are executed.
You bring strong technical, cost, schedule, and quality management skills and understand how decisions made during the Design-Build-Sustain lifecycle affect program execution and long-term sustainment. You are organized, proactive, and able to identify risks, track performance, and communicate program status to leadership while keeping teams focused on mission and customer commitments.
As the Deputy Logistics Project Manager (LPM), you will support the LPM in maintaining visibility of Global Sustainment activities and serve as a key point of contact for program teams. You will help coordinate GS resources, drive cross-functional actions, and ensure the right capabilities are aligned to program needs. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities, and working through ambiguity to develop practical solutions.
Most importantly, you are a team-oriented leader who takes ownership, communicates effectively, builds strong relationships, and is willing to step in and help drive execution wherever needed. You understand that successful sustainment requires more than managing individual tasks—it requires connecting people, processes, technical solutions, and resources to deliver the right capability at the right time.
