Role purpose
Strengthen construction project planning, coordination, and delivery by ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable information flows across teams.
Transform design data, BIM models, and project documentation into guidance that supports predictable outcomes, reduces risk, and improves decision-making.
Document and model management
- Manage versions of construction documents and models on cloud platforms so the latest information is available to field teams.
- Work with project management platforms such as ACC Build, Procore, and Bluebeam.
RFI and submittal management
- Identify potential RFIs through drawing and model review, assess affected details, and link impacted drawings for stakeholder awareness.
- Interpret project specifications to create submittal logs and assist with tracking and management on project platforms.
Change and design review
- Track cost changes resulting from drawings, RFIs, and other factors, and generate scope change reports from revised drawing comparisons.
- Review design, construction, and shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs for inconsistencies, incomplete information, and constructability issues.
BIM coordination and quality
- Use BIM to identify and resolve spatial and temporal conflicts between trades before they affect field execution.
- Check models for completeness, accuracy, and constructability, using automation where possible.
- Use data visualization to track project progress, indicators, and quality.
Process improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and tools.
- Partner with innovation teams on automation and AI initiatives.
- Document lessons learned and best practices.
Daily work
- Review priorities, open items, model updates, documents, change requests, and risks.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, field teams, clients, and cross-functional groups.
- Guide junior team members on technical questions and workflow challenges.
What you should bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Two to five years of experience in construction operations and/or BIM.
- Strong understanding of the construction lifecycle and building systems.
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, BIM 360 or ACC, and Procore.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
