Responsibilities
- Manage execution of mechanical works including HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, LPG, and building services
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
- Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and material submittals
- Monitor site progress and ensure mechanical works are completed according to approved schedules and quality standards
- Conduct technical evaluations and resolve engineering and construction related issues
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to project management
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Ensure compliance with local authorities, Dubai Municipality regulations, Civil Defence requirements
- Review and verify contractor invoices, variations, and claims related to mechanical works
- Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation measures
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies and promote a safe working environment
- Support project close out activities including snagging, documentation, and final handover
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Engineer – Mechanical in construction projects
- Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, LPG, and associated building services
- Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and Civil Defence requirements
- Strong problem solving and risk mitigation skills
