About the Role
A confidential company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Project Engineer Mechanical to plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical and piping engineering activities for ADNOC projects. The role requires ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective execution in compliance with ADNOC standards and HSE regulations.

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical and piping engineering activities for ADNOC projects
- Manage and coordinate mechanical and piping construction, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, specifications, and technical documents
- Monitor piping fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, reinstatement, and mechanical completion activities
- Coordinate with ADNOC representatives, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments
- Ensure all mechanical and piping works comply with ADNOC standards and project specifications
- Prepare and review technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, material approvals, and work procedures
- Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed within approved schedules and budgets
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues related to mechanical and piping works
- Support pre commissioning, commissioning, and project handover activities
Requirements
- 8 15 years of experience in mechanical and piping engineering
- Experience with ADNOC projects and standards
- Knowledge of international codes and standards for mechanical and piping works
- Ability to review engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and specifications
- Experience in project coordination and supervision

Role Overview
- To plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical and piping engineering activities related to ADNOC projects, ensuring safe, timely, and cost effective execution in compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate mechanical and piping construction, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, specifications, and technical documents.
- Monitor piping fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, reinstatement, and mechanical completion activities.

- Coordinate inspections and testing activities with QA/QC personnel and client representatives.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment resources.
- Prepare progress reports and participate in project review meetings.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements and company procedures.
