Project Engineer

Role Overview

Project Management and Coordination

• Plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects in line with timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate technical teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects meet specified standards.
• Coordinate operations between sales, marketing, engineering, and production teams.

Reporting and Risk Management

• Provide regular progress reports to management, including project challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate impacts on project timelines and workflow.
• Evaluate, organize, and prioritize workloads so tasks are completed within scheduled timelines.

Technical and Client Work

• Review technical documents, contracts, and drawings for alignment with project requirements and quality standards.
• Analyze and interpret client requirements and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Identify engineering issues during projects and apply suitable solutions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to confirm satisfaction and project alignment.

Compliance and Contractors

• Monitor compliance with safety objectives and relevant legal requirements throughout project delivery.
• Communicate with external contractors to ensure equipment meets the project's technical requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in engineering project management.
• Experience in transformers or heavy electrical equipment is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

• Familiarity with IEC, SASO, and SEC international technical standards.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools such as MS Project or AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
