Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute lifting equipment inspection and certification projects.
- Manage projects from initial client enquiry through scheduling, execution, reporting, and completion.
- Prepare project schedules, resource requirements, and execution plans.
- Monitor project progress, quality, timelines, safety, and client requirements.
Lifting Equipment and Inspection
- Coordinate inspection, testing, and examination of lifting equipment and accessories.
- Review technical requirements, inspection reports, and certification documentation.
- Coordinate with qualified lifting equipment inspectors and technical personnel.
- Support compliance activities and maintain traceability of inspection and certification work.
- Assist with identifying technical issues, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
LEEA and Lifting Operations
- Apply knowledge of LEEA standards, lifting equipment, and safe lifting practices.
- Support activities involving lifting accessories, lifting machines, cranes, hoists, and associated equipment.
- Coordinate LEEA-related training, assessments, and technical activities where applicable.
Training Academy Operations
- Coordinate technical and safety training programs, course schedules, and resources.
- Support course materials, attendance records, assessments, and certification documentation.
- Assist in developing technical and safety training programs based on market demand.
- Coordinate practical training sessions and client-specific training requirements.
Client and Business Development
- Attend client meetings and understand technical and project requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and project scopes.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify additional service opportunities.
- Coordinate site visits and technical discussions with clients.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare project reports, inspection documentation, and technical correspondence.
- Maintain accurate project records and certification documentation.
- Ensure reports are completed and submitted within agreed timelines.
- Support internal quality and compliance requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- LEEA qualification or certification is mandatory.
- At least five years of relevant experience in lifting equipment, inspection, certification, engineering, safety training, or related industries.
- Strong practical knowledge of lifting equipment and lifting operations.
- Experience with cranes, hoists, lifting accessories, shackles, slings, lifting beams, and related equipment.
- Knowledge of relevant international standards and lifting regulations.
- Experience preparing technical reports and inspection documentation.
- Strong project coordination, client management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Third-party inspection and certification experience is highly preferred.
- Qatar or GCC experience is preferred.
- Appointed Person or Lifting Supervisor certification is advantageous.
- HSE or safety training experience is advantageous.
- Experience with oil and gas, petrochemical, or construction clients is advantageous.
- Experience in a training academy or certification and inspection company is advantageous.
- Experience conducting or coordinating technical training programs is advantageous.
