Operational Specialist

Role Overview

Operations Management

• Manage daily operations across certification, auditing, training, and inspection divisions.
• Develop procedures, workflows, and performance standards.
• Coordinate management, auditors, trainers, inspectors, technical personnel, and clients.
• Monitor KPIs, revenue targets, service delivery, and timely completion of assignments.

ISO Certification and Audit Operations

• Manage the ISO certification lifecycle from client inquiry through certification and surveillance audits.
• Coordinate with lead auditors, technical experts, and certification teams.
• Plan and schedule audits and certification activities.
• Maintain documentation, audit reports, corrective actions, certification records, and accreditation compliance.
• Manage client relationships throughout the certification cycle.

Training Academy

• Oversee safety and professional training academy operations.
• Coordinate trainers, course schedules, materials, classrooms, and client requirements.
• Develop corporate training opportunities and institutional partnerships.
• Monitor registrations, attendance, certification, and feedback.
• Ensure training programs meet relevant local and international requirements.

Inspection Services

• Coordinate third-party and technical inspection assignments.
• Manage inspectors and technical personnel.
• Ensure inspection reports and certificates are accurate and completed within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate inspection schedules, site access, and technical requirements with clients.

Business Development

• Support business development and identify new corporate clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
• Maintain existing client relationships and participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell certification, training, inspection, and related services.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, quality management, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
• At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in ISO certification, training, inspection, HSE, safety, or related operations.
• Strong understanding of ISO management systems, certification processes, documentation, audits, corrective actions, and certification procedures.
• Experience managing ISO auditors, trainers, inspectors, and technical personnel.
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 17021-1, and accredited certification-body experience are desirable or advantageous.
• Strong client management, communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Qatar market experience and an established industry network are preferred or advantageous.

• The organization operates across ISO certification and auditing, ISO consultancy and compliance, safety and professional training, third-party inspection, technical inspection, and corporate training.
• The role is expected to build systems, manage people, develop clients, and operate the business efficiently and profitably in Qatar.
