The Role

Skills and Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects and mobilize site resources against client time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Inspect construction works for compliance with contract specifications and quality standards.
• Oversee construction from commencement through completion.
• Lead weekly site meetings with contractors and consultants to track progress and resolve issues.
• Undertake site surveys and maintain detailed construction schedules and contractor look-ahead schedules.
• Review contractor methodologies and resource allocations and issue necessary instructions after client approval.
• Monitor contractor progress and analyze labor, equipment, and scheduling delays.
• Coordinate commissioning, final inspections, handover, and defects resolution.
• Prepare RFIs, punch lists, handover documents, as-built drawings, manuals, commissioning reports, and warranties.
• Coordinate manufacturer representatives and equipment training for site personnel.
• Calculate project costs and coordinate manpower, contractors, clients, architects, quantity surveyors, and project managers.
