Role Overview
Greenfield Global is seeking a Project Engineer for its Technical Services team in Johnstown, Ontario.
The role leads and supports capital projects that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and operational performance at a manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning.
- Develop project scopes, technical specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Support process improvements that enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for plant operations.
- Support DCS, PLC, and BMS automation and process control platforms.
- Contribute to capital planning and engineering studies.
- Maintain engineering documentation, standards, and drawings.
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- P.Eng. designation with Professional Engineers Ontario.
- Experience managing or supporting industrial engineering and capital projects.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
