Job Description
The Project Electrical Engineer works very closely and daily with PM&E’s Project Managers & Engineering Team and Business Operational Teams.
The roles key responsibilities and accountabilities are:
Preparation of production line control designs, documentation, PLC Programs, HMI programs for can making line control systems utilising: Rockwell ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLCs Rockwell PanelView PLUS HMI Rockwell Powerflex variable frequency drives
Rockwell ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLCs
Rockwell PanelView PLUS HMI
Rockwell Powerflex variable frequency drives
Monitoring quality of supplier/contractor work and answering technical queries to ensure they follow all Crown’s design engineering specifications and documents
Undertaking pre-delivery inspections and testing
Verifying electrical designs and installations and ensure constructability is considered throughout
Commissioning line control systems
Completing Commissioning record documentation
Training operational staff
Checking wok for completion and provides a “punch list” of items needing remediation
Collate “As Built” drawings for all on-site modifications & variations
