Applications Project Leader

Main Responsibilities –

• Capable of designing and managing application development.
• Gather requirements, prepare cost analyses for new applications and produce proposals for new IT projects.
• Identify organisational need for new applications, research and evaluate new software applications or updates to existing products.
• Able to translate a business requirement/user requirement to a technical solution. Help prepare technical specification and offer guidance in area of expertise
• Help investigate and offer advice to assist in resolving faults, errors and other technical issues
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to fulfil the requirements of the organisation
• Perform project task activities allocated in area of expertise
• Provide guidance and assistance to the Project and Support Analysts
• Maintain the status of projects and tasks within the EISS Project Management Tool
• Ensure full compliance with governance rules covering Sarbanes Oxley and the ITIL Processes defined in the EISS ISO Quality Manual
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the project and support delivery processes
• Act as Service owner

Required Education and Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology subject (or similar)
• Certified in ITIL Foundation
• PRINCE2 qualification
