About the Role
Daikin Middle East and Africa is hiring a Project Development Engineer focused on technical and commercial support for HVAC projects.
The role links customers, sales teams, factories, and internal departments to deliver accurate and competitive HVAC solutions.
How You Will Contribute
- Review project specifications, engineering drawings, and client requirements.
- Select and size chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and VRV systems.
- Conduct heat load analysis and evaluate technical requirements.
- Prepare technical compliance statements and submittals.
- Coordinate non-standard products and specialized applications with factories and technical teams.
- Prepare costing, pricing, and commercial offers.
- Develop technical and commercial quotations.
- Respond to customer inquiries throughout the sales cycle.
- Coordinate project requirements with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain CRM records and submit project and customer activity reports.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC application engineering.
- Experience in HVAC system design, equipment selection, and technical proposal preparation.
- Experience supporting commercial, industrial, and specialized projects is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Experience with specialized HVAC applications, including Oil and Gas projects, is preferred.
- Familiarity with regional HVAC standards and practices within the GCC market is preferred.
