Project Cost Analysis

We are currently seeking a Construction Project Cost Analyst to add to our Goyette Mechanical Construction Division in our South Bend, Indiana vicinity

Specifically, we are looking for local candidates with a background or experience in accounting and billing for a mechanical contractor, HVAC, or construction company.

This is a full-time, non-union salaried position with benefits and competitive salary.

Job duties are in the New Carlisle, Indiana vicinity.

· 3-5+ years’ experience in accounting, billing, accounts receivable and/or accounts payable in a Construction and/or Mechanical Contracting environment.

· Sound organizational and follow-up skills with strong document management abilities.

· Demonstrated robust communication skills including vendor follow-up.

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize work based on deadlines; excellent time management skills are necessary to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

· Attention-to-detail, timeliness, excellent customer service, prompt follow-up, and accuracy are highly critical in this role.

· Must be able to foster and support a teamwork environment, placing a high emphasis on excellent customer service.

· Dependable, adaptable, and proactive with good interpersonal skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software.

· Previous accounting and/or billing experience for an HVAC/R firm.

· Solid construction accounting software experience, ie.

COINS.

• Work closely with a construction project manager(s) and higher-level company accounting team as part of a cohesive effort to ensure financials and bills are processed promptly and properly.
