Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all Planning, Reporting, Perform, Cost Control, Forecasting, and Risk Management functions for the assigned project
- Develop and implement the Project Controls strategy in line with project objectives and BESIX standards
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the integrated project schedule
- Ensure accurate progress measurement and performance reporting across all project disciplines
- Lead project cost control processes, including budget monitoring, forecasting, trend analysis, and cost reporting
- Lead the project risk management process from project handover through project completion
- Establish and maintain efficient processes for data collection, validation, analysis, and visualization
- Act as the primary Project Controls representative within the Project Management Team
- Lead, mentor, and develop Planning Engineers, Cost Control Engineers, and Project Controls personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 25 years of construction industry experience
- At least 5 years in a senior Project Controls leadership role
- Proven experience on large scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, marine, or mission critical projects
- Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and project reporting
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Power BI, Excel, and project controls systems
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CCP, EVP, PRMP, or equivalent preferred

Job Purpose
- The Project Controls Manager leads all project controls functions including planning, scheduling, progress measurement, performance management, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and risk management.
- Provides strategic oversight and visibility of project performance to support decision making by the Project Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all Planning, Reporting, Perform, Cost Control, Forecasting, and Risk Management functions
- Develop and implement the Project Controls strategy
- Ensure effective integration between planning, cost control, productivity management, and risk management
- Establish project controls governance, reporting structures, and performance monitoring systems
- Oversee development, maintenance, and monitoring of integrated project schedule
- Ensure accurate progress measurement and performance reporting
- Lead implementation and maintenance of Perform for productivity and resource management
- Monitor project performance against approved baselines and identify corrective actions
- Coordinate recovery plans and schedule mitigation measures
- Lead project cost control processes including budget monitoring, forecasting, trend analysis, and cost reporting
- Lead project risk management process
- Establish and maintain efficient processes for data collection, validation, analysis, and visualization
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CCP, EVP, PRMP, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 25 years of construction industry experience, including at least 5 years in a senior Project Controls leadership role
- Proven experience on large scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, marine, or mission critical projects
- Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and project reporting
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Power BI, Excel, and project controls systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary project controls teams
- Experience in client facing roles and executive level reporting
