Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule of the project according to owner standards and approved scheduling tools
- Assess progress measurement and develop/update progress curves for progress reporting
- Responsible for EVM during all project stages; perform Current Schedule and Cost (EV, AC) vs. Performance Measurement Baseline, compare and highlight major activity deviations
- Perform Critical Path Analysis, identify and analyse critical paths/activities to ascertain project completion in time and in budget, including forecasting delays and evaluation of alternative scenarios
- Responsible for developing, implementing, feeding, reconciling, and maintaining valuable project control databases and reports for projects
- Manage and ensure the reconciliation of program controls data with financial and performance systems, coordinating with Project Managers
- Produce required accounting and project cost reports including analysis on deviations, under runs, and over runs
- Prepare forecasts and cost trend reports; review and evaluate trends and their impact on project costs
- Monitor project costs and commitment to budget and forecast
- Maintain change control and the change order register
- Support the Project Controls Manager in creating and administering project execution plans and revise as appropriate
- Support the Project Controls Manager on day to day operational aspects of the project and scope including project monitoring and controls
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Controls
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
- Primavera P6 experience required
- Project management or project controls certification (PMP, PMI SP or similar) preferred
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good analytical ability and technical skills
- Clear and analytical approach to problem solving
- General understanding of Project Management, Railway Systems Design & Construction, Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling
- Experience performing engineering work in accordance with railway systems procedures, standards, and practices, and KSA regulatory requirements preferred
- Strong problem solving abilities and decision making in dynamic project environments
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration
- Detail oriented with focus on high quality report outcomes

Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Control Engineer to join our team, supporting the delivery of high quality engineering solutions within railway projects.
- The Project Control Engineer will be participating in integrated project controls functions including planning, scheduling, cost management, reporting, change control, and performance monitoring across the programme.
- You will work across a range of projects, supporting clients in delivering efficient, reliable, and future ready rail infrastructure.
Your role
- Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule of the project according to owner standards and approved scheduling tools.

About you

- Must have a general understanding in the areas of Project Management, Railway Systems Design & Construction, Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling.
- Experience performing engineering work in accordance with railway systems procedures, standards, and practices, and KSA regulatory requirements preferred.
- Strong problem solving abilities and the ability to make decisions in dynamic project environments.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
