Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6
- Prepare project baselines, resource loaded schedules, and progress measurement systems
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays
- Perform schedule risk analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and project performance reports
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, engineering, procurement, and construction departments
- Track project costs, manpower utilization, productivity, and resource allocation
- Analyze project variances and prepare recovery plans
- Review subcontractor schedules and monitor their performance
- Prepare earned value analysis (EVA) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 10 years of experience in Project Controls within Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Industrial Construction projects
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and progress monitoring
- Knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Power BI, and project reporting tools
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills

Position Summary
- NSH Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Control Engineer to support the planning, scheduling, cost control, and progress monitoring of major Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, shutdown, and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare project baselines, resource loaded schedules, and progress measurement systems.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays.
- Perform schedule risk analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and project performance reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, engineering, procurement, and construction departments to obtain project updates.
- Track project costs, manpower utilization, productivity, and resource allocation.
- Analyze project variances and prepare recovery plans when required.
- Review subcontractor schedules and monitor their performance.
- Prepare earned value analysis (EVA) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support management with forecasting, budgeting, and project planning activities.
- Participate in project review meetings and client progress meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Project Controls within Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Industrial Construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and progress monitoring.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
- Knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Power BI, and project reporting tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- Experience working on ADNOC, EPC, or major Oil & Gas projects will be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
