About the Role
Cyient is seeking a Project Analyst to support PMO operations, including project planning, scheduling, risk analysis, and budget tracking. The ideal candidate has project management experience, preferably in aerospace, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Support the design, development and implementation of plans and project initiatives
- Develop, implement, and monitor project action plans; maintain project schedules, time and cost objectives
- Analyze potential risks and assist with the development of risk management recommendations
- Monitor and prioritize activities; provide administrative services to project teams
- Analyze data and identify opportunities for project related issue resolution
- Support the planning of project budgets and recommend allocation of financial resources
- Attend project meetings and represent Corporate Operations on interdepartmental activities
- Provide advice and guidance in the development of plans and project specifications
- Prepare, review and maintain project documentation such as reports, presentation decks, briefings
- Incorporate quality standards into project deliverables and suggest changes for improvement
Requirements
- Project management experience in an aerospace related environment is considered an asset
- Experience in new aerospace certification programs is considered an asset
- Previous experience with managing multiple projects in a fast paced work environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Thorough knowledge of theories, principles and practices of project management
- Excellent ability to communicate using PowerPoint and work with Excel and MS Project
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Excellent project management, communication, organizational, customer service and time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually
- Candidate must be self motivated, autonomous and enthusiastic
- Willing to travel

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor project action plans; maintain project schedules, time and cost objectives and report regularly on progress.
- Analyze potential risks and assist with the development of risk management recommendations.
- Monitor and prioritize activities; provide administrative services to project teams.
- Analyze data and identify opportunities for project related issue resolution.
- Support the planning of project budgets, recommend allocation of financial resources, and produce monthly financial forecasts.
- Attend project meetings and represent Corporate Operations on interdepartmental activities.
- Provide advice and guidance in the development of plans and project specifications to management and stakeholders.
- Prepare, review and maintain project documentation such as reports, presentation decks, briefings, and position papers.
- Incorporate quality standards into project deliverables and suggest changes for standardization and improvement.
Education & Experience
- Project management experience in an aerospace related environment is considered an asset.
- Experience in new aerospace certification programs is considered an asset.
- Previous experience with managing multiple projects in a fast paced work environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of theories, principles and practices of project management, financial, contracting, research, and data gathering.
- Thorough technical knowledge on project management technical tools.
- Excellent ability to communicate a strategy using PowerPoint and to work with Excel and MS Project.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
