Responsibilities
- Oversee project related financial activities, including budgeting, cost tracking, revenue recognition, and variance analysis for multiple client engagements
- Prepare and review project financial reports, ensure accurate and timely invoicing, and monitor accounts receivable related to projects
- Reconcile project expenses, coordinate with project managers on financial forecasts, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards
- Support audits, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain clear and transparent financial information for each project
Requirements
- Strong project accounting and financial reporting skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proficiency in general accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and month end closing processes
- Ability to work with ERP or accounting software, advanced Excel skills, and comfort with data analysis and dashboards
- Experience coordinating with project managers and stakeholders, with solid communication and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage
- Knowledge of regional financial regulations and awareness of best practices in audit readiness and internal controls
- Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or project based environments is preferred

Role Description
- The Project Accountant is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates for Mustadama Farm.
