Programme Quality Engineer – Concessions

Management of efficient and effective Concessions system to ensure effective capture and sentencing – to be the programme lead for driving information capture and close-out of concessions back into the vehicle designs.

Through life management of Concessions.

Become a point of knowledge on all aspects of Concession management.

Support the development of end-to-end management support tools, such as information flows, tracking spreadsheets, metrics, action logs and project milestones.

Manage the review, design, development and implementation of effective and efficient Concession processes.

Support the closure of Concessions via the generation of embodiment plan of corrective actions into the wider DLODs (manufacturing, supply chain, spares / ILS, training etc).

Identification and implementation of lessons identified in order to continuously refine and improve the concession process and enhance capability development.

Generate daily, weekly and monthly Concession metrics.

Support the analysis of Concessions to establish trends.

Supporting the tailoring of the company Processes to suit the programme and contractual needs.

Liaison and work with managers and peers in other support functions.

Support/advice to Production Managers, Engineering and other business areas as required.

Attendance at selected key reviews in accordance with agreed plans

Review of key concessions documents.

Customer liaison and representing the department, the presentation of data, on site and at customer sites

Promote quality awareness within programmes.

Prepare weekly and monthly production quality metrics and reports, for internal and external purposes.

Support and conduct Spot checks/Spot Audits/Audits.

Deputise for the Concessions Manager as and when required.

ONC/HNC in an Engineering/Quality Discipline with Quality Engineering Experience.
