Production Quality Inspector

General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time Production Quality Inspector to join our Production Quality Team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £26,800 to £33,500 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally.

Joining an established team based at our Merthyr facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders, to audit and support the design, development, qualification production, integration and testing of activities at the GDUK Merthyr facility with a key focus on conducting non-conformity analysis and driving to root cause then developing corrective actions.

Responsible for in station/line compliance/snag generation, including;

WI Cross Check/Compliance

Critical/Safety Quality in-build checkpoint inspection (Build-plan call off)

Build book quality critical/safety validation sign off

5S STN compliance

Responsible for in station/line inspection activity on product/vehicles, including

PDI (Post Delivery Inspection) Incoming Hull

Hull armour gap/step inspection

Hull tooling mark Inspection

Hull spall liner Inspection

On vehicle pre/post part fitment inspection/validation

CAT inspection

- End Of Line inspection

Experience of working in a design or manufacturing environment
