The Program Specialist, Digital Solutions supports the development, enhancement, and operation of CIHI’s data and information platform as part of the Hub Program. This role involves contributing to process improvements, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning to ensure efficient delivery of data products.

• Undergraduate degree in Digital Health, Health Information, Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. • 3-5 years related experience in health care related information management, data processing, or analytics. • Strong conceptual, problem-solving, verbal communication, technical writing, and presentation skills. • Ability to synthesize data and create effective data visualizations for diverse audiences. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Familiarity with CIHI data, standards, health master data, and data management best practices, including privacy of personal health information. • Understanding of the healthcare system and performance management/reporting. • Excellent planning, organizing, and multitasking abilities. • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines. • Project management experience and familiarity with Gantt charts is an asset. • Experience with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI is an asset. • Experience using R or Python for data manipulation and analysis is an asset.
