Program & Outreach Assistant (Student Worker)

Essential Qualifications

• Enrollment: Currently enrolled as a student at the University for the academic year.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor suitable for interacting with external vendors, university staff, and leadership
• Organization & Detail: Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks and projects independently.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive).
• Reliability: Proven ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to a consistent schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior administrative, office operations, or customer service experience.
• Enrollment: Currently enrolled as a graduate student at the University for the academic year.
• Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) or willingness to quickly learn web-based contact management platforms.
• Familiarity with design tools like Canva and basic interest or experience in content creation / AI media tools.
• Passion for entrepreneurship, community engagement, economic inclusion, and equity initiatives.

About the Office for Supplier Diversity

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range: $15.25 to $16.50 a hour ; depending on education/qualifications/experience
• Please visit the Office of Student Health Benefits website for more information regarding benefit eligibility.
• Student workers are eligible to participate in the Student Health Benefit Plan, if they maintain 6 or more eligible course credits within a given semester. The same applies for Undergraduate Students, Graduate Assistants, Residents, Fellows and Interns.
