WSP is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a major transit agency in New York City on large-scale fare payment, transit technology, and customer-facing mobility programs.
This position will serve as the primary day-to-day project management lead, coordinating activities among clients, technology vendors, contractors, systems integrators, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
The successful candidate will provide leadership in project planning, schedule management, stakeholder coordination, risk management, executive reporting, governance, implementation oversight, and transition planning for complex transit technology programs.
The role is comparable to WSP's support of major fare payment and transit modernization initiatives across New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, and Miami.
This position requires a proven leader with extensive experience managing large, multi-disciplinary transportation technology programs, fare payment systems, account-based ticketing, open payments, customer technology platforms, and systems integration efforts.
Candidates should possess strong client relationship skills and experience working directly with executive leadership at large public transportation agencies.
Desired qualifications align closely with leadership experience supporting major transit fare modernization and payment system programs, including OMNY and similar initiatives.
This position is required to be onsite in New York, NY five (5) days per week.
Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the New York City metropolitan area.
Remote or hybrid arrangements are not anticipated for this role.

Expected Salary (all locations): $ 174,500.00 - $ 255,000.00
