Role overview
Lead the modernization and long-term delivery roadmap for McKesson’s B2B Specialty eCommerce platform.
Own the program from pre-planning through implementation, cutover, stabilization, and ongoing platform enhancements.
Operate as the senior delivery leader for a large, complex, business-critical enterprise technology program.
Program leadership and planning
- Lead teams and partners through influence, establish delivery standards, and mentor others on program practices.
- Translate the multi-year roadmap into executable plans with sequencing, resources, delivery commitments, and trade-off analysis.
- Define measurable business outcomes, align business and IT goals, manage scope, and establish program governance.
- Develop and control the program budget, monitor costs, and connect spending decisions to priorities and expected results.
Stakeholder management and execution
- Advise executive sponsors and senior leaders, run steering and review cadences, and communicate status and key decisions.
- Manage dependencies, conflicts, resources, roadblocks, and escalated issues across business, technology, operations, and change teams.
- Manage the implementation partner delivering packaged commercial software and hold it accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
