About You

To be successful in this role you will possess :

Extensive experience leading large-scale programs and complex transformation initiatives in enterprise or government-style environments.

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and drive outcomes at executive level.

Demonstrated expertise in program governance, executive reporting, risk management and benefits realisation.

Proven financial management capability, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and investment analysis.

Experience managing delivery across internal teams, implementation partners and external vendors.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and drive accountability in matrix environments.

Proven ability to manage complex risks, dependencies and organisational change within large transformation programs.

Sound understanding of contemporary project and program delivery methodologies, governance frameworks and hybrid delivery approaches.

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) commenced operations in 2013 as the national entity responsible for regulating all vehicles in Australia over 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass. The NHVR minimises the compliance burden on the heavy vehicle transport industry, reduces duplication and inconsistences across state and territory borders, and ultimately for the heavy vehicle business with government in Australia.
