The Senior Program Manager provides strategic leadership and end-to-end accountability for major aircraft cabin interiors programs, with full ownership of program execution and financial performance.
This role leads cross-functional teams across Jamco's global organization to deliver profitable, high-quality solutions that meet customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Serving as the primary interface with customers, OEMs, and executive leadership, the Senior Program Manager drives program strategy, manages risk and opportunities, and ensures successful execution throughout the entire program lifecycle while protecting margin, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
Summary
The Senior Program Manager leads major customer cabin interiors programs and owns their profit-and-loss performance across the full program lifecycle.
This role carries end-to-end accountability for program revenue, cost, schedule, and margin, and serves as the central point of integration across customers, the OEM, suppliers, and internal functions.
Success depends on leading cross-functional teams through influence rather than direct authority, and on operating effectively across Jamco’s global sites and cultures to deliver profitable, on-time, and requirement-compliant programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:
Program Leadership and Execution Owns the full lifecycle and profit-and-loss performance of assigned customer interiors programs across multiple airlines (development, production, and in-service). Leads across cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain manufacturing and factory operations, quality, and finance) through influence rather than direct authority. Develops and executes program strategy to deliver within cost, schedule, margin, and requirements. Defines program schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Creates and maintains program plans and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). Supports the RFQ and bid process by validating scope, cost, margin assumptions, and resource needs. Manages program scope and configuration changes against contract, cost, and schedule baselines. Dispositions and negotiates customer change requests to protect program margin and schedule. Establishes and holds delivery schedules and customer milestone commitments. Tracks, forecasts, and communicates the cost and margin impact of program changes. Partners across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality to drive program execution and continuous improvement. Monitors program performance and customer feedback to identify cost-reduction and improvement opportunities. Provides program and pricing input to business development to support follow-on capture and new program pursuits.

Education And And Or Experience And Knowledge
Position requires completion of a bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in business management or engineering, or equivalent related work experience; engineering degree preferred.
Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of program management experience in the aircraft or aerospace industry, including demonstrated experience leading full program profit-and-loss on major customer programs (EAC/EVM management, margin recovery, and change and claims negotiation).
Requires proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence without direct authority, and to operate effectively across global sites and cultures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively interact with employees, customers, and suppliers.
