Program Facilitators

for this role is inclusive of preparation, travel, and program delivery time.

The Next IT Girl does not provide separate travel reimbursements for contractor roles.

• Ensure program material accuracy and readiness, accuracy, and successful delivery
• Facilitate monthly IT Girl Club sessions or any other TNIG programs at assigned partner school(s) in accordance with TNIG curriculum and program agenda
• Deliver programming in alignment with TNIG’s instructional approach and youth-centered philosophy
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment
• Serve as a positive role model for participants, school partners, and the broader community
• Build rapport with student participants and provide consistent encouragement, support, and growth opportunities
• Motivate and engage student participants using positive behavior management and a trauma-informed approach
• Support student retention throughout the program lifecycle

• Maintain program materials and ensure proper setup and breakdown of each session
• Communicate regularly with the Program Operations Manager regarding program progress, challenges, and successes
• Practice consistent risk management and adhere to TNIG policies and procedures
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation and submissions

• Accurately track and submit:
• Attendance records
• Student engagement data
• Program assessments and outcome measurement activities
• Post-session program evaluation data
• Student projects and/or artifacts as required by the program

• Complete onboarding and any required training prior to facilitating sessions
• Participate in three monthly readiness meetings with the Program Operations Manager focused on:
• Curriculum review
• Session agendas
• Materials and technology preparation and pickup
• Delivery expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned that support program success

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, education, human development, nonprofit studies, or a related field OR
• 3+ years of experience facilitating youth programming or teaching
• Experience delivering presentations, trainings, or public speaking
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and comfort learning new digital tools (e.g.,, Slack, Learning Management Systems (LMS) Platforms, and Google Workspace)
• Understanding of core technology concepts AI, HTML/CSS, Data Science, Cybersecurity, UX/UI Design
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Experience working in a fast-paced, remote and often ambiguous work environment
• Comfortable use of requisite tools (i.e. video conferencing, messaging, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize, organize, collaborate and work effectively on a multicultural team
• Ability to receive feedback and engage in continuous self-improvement
• Firm belief in personal accountability, producing measurable outcomes, and sustaining high expectations
• Reliable and consistent transportation to programming sites

• Flexible, part-time
• Average time commitment is approximately 5–6 hours per school per month, including:
• Preparation
• Travel and setup
• Program delivery
• Post-session and other reporting
• Standard program session times are between 9:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Friday
• In-person facilitation at program sites
• Hybrid schedule; in-person trainings

• $150 per session per school per month
• This role is classified as a contractor position

All positions at TNIG require at least some interaction with minors (see list of duties for specific details).

Therefore, candidates must undergo a background check to ensure the safety of the youth we serve.

Candidates will be informed about the background check process and will have the opportunity to discuss any relevant issues.

Required: Must have reliable transportation or car and validate driver's license for work travel
