Role Overview
Parsons is seeking a Program Director to lead a complex PMO program with significant impact on the local community.
The role provides strategic leadership, governance, and delivery oversight for large-scale programs and portfolios typically valued up to $5 billion.
The Program Director serves as Parsons' senior client representative and leads multidisciplinary delivery teams across multiple projects and workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Establish and mature PMO methodologies, processes, and tools in line with organizational standards.
- Oversee enterprise-wide initiatives, project execution, dependencies, and senior stakeholder expectations.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards for program health, financial forecasting, and benefits realization.
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate program-level risks and manage scope, schedule, and cost trade-offs.
- Hire, coach, lead, and mentor large teams of project managers, engineers, and technical professionals.
- Represent Parsons with clients and key subcontractors and lead scope, contractual, and commercial negotiations.
- Mobilize resources across offices, regions, and support functions and optimize allocation across workstreams.
- Partner with Business Development to identify and secure additional work with existing and new clients.
