Role Overview
Parsons is seeking a Program Director to lead a complex major program with significant impact on the local community.
The role provides strategic leadership, governance, and delivery oversight for large-scale programs and portfolios typically valued up to $5 billion.
The position serves as Parsons senior representative to the client and leads multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects and workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Establish and mature program methodologies, processes, and tools in line with organizational standards.
- Oversee enterprise-wide initiatives, direct projects, manage dependencies, and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track program health, financial forecasting, and benefits realization.
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate program-level risks and drive scope, schedule, and cost trade-off decisions.
- Hire, coach, and lead project management teams and foster professional development.
- Represent Parsons with the client and key subcontractors throughout program execution.
- Lead negotiations on scope changes, contractual matters, and commercial adjustments.
