Plug and Play Tech Center is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and entrepreneurial Community Associate to join our San Jose team.

This role will support a broad range of activities across community engagement, program delivery, business development, and the startup ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working across different areas, building relationships, staying close to startups and entrepreneurs, and helping bring programs, events, and community initiatives to life.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Support the planning and execution of programs, workshops, pitch sessions, and community events, both in-person and virtually.
• Coordinate with startups, corporate partners, mentors, investors, speakers, and internal teams to support smooth program and event delivery.
• Support startup engagement, including onboarding, check-ins, communications, and feedback collection.
• Assist with event logistics, outreach, registration, materials, and vendor coordination.
• Help build and maintain relationships across the local startup and innovation ecosystem.
• Support community engagement initiatives and opportunities to connect startups, corporations, investors, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
