- Proof of exceptional aptitude for scientific work, usually demonstrated by a doctorate or quality of scientific publications
- At least three years of qualified professional experience, with two years outside a university
- Experience teaching in Finance, Controlling, and Accounting
- Ability to teach in English
- National and international work experience in the field
- Publication and research activity

The opportunity
- We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty in Dubai on a full time basis starting 01.09.2026.
- You will deliver engaging and practical modules, leverage expertise to create real world connections, and foster an inclusive learning experience.
- You will play an instrumental role in delivering high quality, future oriented education.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
- Conducting introductory and advanced courses in Finance, Controlling and Accounting.
- Planning and implementing interdisciplinary research and development projects.
- Advising and supervising students to help them achieve their goals.
- Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, and bachelor/master theses.
- Establishing industry collaborations and partnerships.
- Participating in university administration and committee work.
- Contributing to the conceptual design of new study programmes and curriculum development.
- Advising prospective students and contributing to outreach activities.
Requirements for a professorship
- University studies completed with a doctoral degree and master's degree or equivalent in the area of the professorship or related field.
- Proof of exceptional aptitude for scientific work, usually demonstrated by a doctorate or quality of scientific publications.
- At least three years of qualified professional experience, with two years outside of a university.
Your profile
- Experience in teaching lectures in Finance, Controlling and Accounting.
- National and international work experience in the field of the professorship.
- Ability to teach courses in English.
- Ability to teach courses in German is an advantage.
- Publication and research activity is a strong asset.
- Commitment to applied research, student engagement, and curriculum innovation.
- Strong ability to communicate and work in a team.
- Preferably you hold a UAE Golden Visa at the time of application.
