Overview
The University of Doha for Science and Technology is an applied university in Qatar offering programs across computing, engineering, business, health sciences, and related fields.
The College of Computing and Information Technology invites applications for an NCSA Professorship Chair at the rank of Full Professor in Data and Cyber Security.
The position is a renewable 10-month full-time appointment involving teaching, applied research focused on critical infrastructure security, and service.
Responsibilities
- Teach one course per semester and contribute to service activities.
- Collaborate with CCIT faculty and National Cyber Security Agency staff to advance their respective missions.
- Liaise with NCSA and industry stakeholders in Qatar on critical infrastructure security.
- Work on research projects, develop strategic initiatives, and conduct relevant workshops.
- The degree program covers applied cryptography, industrial control systems security, network security, ethical hacking, security monitoring, and incident response.
