Role Overview

Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Unit Position Summary
Provides professional support for the MSUCAC AmeriCorps program. Duties included, but not limited to:
Enter biweekly payroll for TOC employees (26)
Event preparation – program meetings, professional development (logistics: space, food, parking, etc.)
Arranging program staff travel in MSU travel system
Office management
Assist with AmeriCorps HR paperwork for program compliance
Work with Undergraduate Education Fiscal Officer on budget tracking
Other duties as assigned
Required skills/education
Undergraduate degree preferred in any major
Previous MSU working experience in finance, HR, business
Previous MSU systems experience (EBS, Concur, etc.)
