Production Technician

Receive, unload, load, move, weight, stack, and stage materials using a forklift or skid steer. Maintain the

facility’s equipment and materials are neat, clean, and orderly fashion.

• Unload product by operating a forklift or skid steer while using appropriate handling and safety

techniques.

• Load hoppers with material from lanes or grain trailer by using a skid steer.

• Segregate material using a forklift or skid steer, weight, label, check and stage

inbound material correctly.

• Check material in lanes to ensure the paperwork description aligns correctly.

• Set-up supplies needed to prepare hopper for loading.

• Assist in the cleaning of trenches using vacuum equipment.

• Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.

• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

• Sign/Date and completely fill out all required paperwork for each load.

• Maintain good housekeeping using organizational skills and follow safety policies.

• Follow work instructions and safety policies.

• May be asked to assist in physical/cycle counts.

• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner

• Identify damages, and report overages/shortages or quality deficiencies

• Perform any additional tasks given by Supervisor.
