The Team Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring continuous production flow by relieving bottlenecks within the department, filling in positions as needed, identifying part/resource shortages, and finding solutions and/or notifying Supervisors that solutions are needed, facilitating implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes, and requesting non-personnel related assistance of other departments by completing work orders and requesting engineering and SFA assistance. May be required to do other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Team Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring continuous production flow by relieving bottlenecks within the department, filling in positions as needed, identifying part/resource shortages, and finding solutions and/or notifying Supervisors that solutions are needed, facilitating implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes, and requesting non-personnel related assistance of other departments by completing work orders and requesting engineering and SFA assistance. May be required to do other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
Business Unit Job Summary
Primarily conducts Team Coordinator tasks in assigned department and may be used in other departments for the Anderson facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reduces production bottle necks on manufacturing product line.
- Address and correct workflow issues.
- Learns all positions and fills in as needed.
- Identifies part and resources shortages and provides solutions.
- Communicates above situations to Supervisors, Engineers and Managers as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED and minimal WorkKeys scores for the position.
- 4+ Years Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous lead position experience.
Physical Requirements
- The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, push and pull.
- Perform grasping, handling, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Maintain manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate tools, equipment, machinery controls, and computer devices as required.
- Safely operate hand tools, light power tools, and rotating equipment as required by the position.
- Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the position.
- Ability to climb and descend ladders, stairs, platforms, and work areas safely as required by the position
Work Environment
The employee will work in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to:
The need to work safely around manufacturing processes and equipment while following all applicable safety policies and procedure
Varying temperatures, including temperatures occasionally above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees.
Moderate to high levels of noise in designated production areas.
Outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, rain, and other environmental elements, as business needs require.
Welding operations, including exposure to welding arcs, sparks, heat, and airborne particulates in designated production areas.
TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED
10% May need to travel when appropriate depending on product line needs.
