Req ID 90076 | North Charleston, SC, United States WABCO Compressor Manufacturing Co Production Supervisor About the Team: The Production Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a production team in a manufacturing environment, ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently while meeting quality standards and production targets. What you can look forward to as a Production Supervisor: Lead, coach, and develop team leaders and production employees to foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment. Drive production performance and OEE by meeting goals for safety, quality, delivery, availability, and efficiency. Coordinate daily production activities, prioritize work, assign resources, and ensure schedules and business objectives are met. Monitor operations and escalate production, quality, maintenance, or staffing issues to support timely resolution. Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication, employee engagement, coaching, mentoring, and regular performance discussions. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, company policy, work instruction, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping standards. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, operational efficiency, quality improvement, and problem-solving. Use KPIs, SAP, and business systems to monitor performance, support decisions, manage time and attendance, and maintain operational continuity. Your profile as a Production Supervisor: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing plant leadership role; automotive industry experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to solve problems, analyze data, and make sound decisions. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Dynamic, driven, and energetic team player who performs well under pressure and tight deadlines. Strong organizational and task management skills.
