About the Role

- Execute operations in the paint production process including RM receival, RM preparation, mixing, milling, and filling activities
- Safely load and unload raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Operate manual and semi automatic machinery such as mixers, grinders, and filling machines
- Conduct in process quality checks as per product specifications
- Follow all HSE standards and adhere to PPE requirements
- Record documentation accurately for traceability of production data
- Perform routine cleaning of equipment and production areas to prevent cross contamination
- Label and dispose of waste materials in line with environmental and safety regulations
- Work closely with other operators, quality control staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless production flow
Requirements
- SSC/SSLC is mandatory
- Manufacturing industry experience is required
- Proficiency in English Language is mandatory
- Experience in paints manufacturing is an added advantage

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Batch Production: Activities include RM Receival, RM Preparation, Mixing, Milling and Filling Activities. Ensure activities to be performed in line with the local SOP.
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload raw materials and finished products, ensuring they are stored and handled in compliance with safety standards. Use appropriate PPE and handling equipment for hazardous materials.
- Equipment Operation: Operate manual and semi automatic machinery, such as mixers, grinders, and filling machines, in line with operating procedures. Adjust machine settings and monitor operations to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Quality Control: Conduct in process quality checks as per the product specifications ensuring each batch meets specified standards. Report any deviations to the supervisor and assist with corrective actions.
- Safety And Compliance: Follow all HSE standards, especially for handling flammable and hazardous substances. Adhere to all PPE requirements.
- Documentation And Reporting: Record documentation accurately, ensuring traceability of production data for each batch.
- Cleaning And Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning of equipment and production areas to prevent cross contamination between batches. Follow procedures for cleaning tanks, mixers, pumps, and other equipment using designated cleaning solvents.
- Waste Management: Label and dispose of waste materials, including leftover solvents and rejected products, in line with environmental and safety regulations. Document the use of cleaning solvents and maintain records in the Reuse Solvent Register where applicable.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other operators, quality control staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless production flow and address any operational issues. Communicate effectively to maintain a cohesive and efficient team environment.
Requirements
- SSC/SSLC is mandatory
