Position Overview
Production Operator role based at Hempel's Sharjah paint manufacturing facility.
The role reports to the Production Supervisor and focuses on quality, safety, and precise production execution.
Production Activities
- Perform raw-material receival, preparation, mixing, milling, and filling activities in line with local procedures.
- Operate mixers, grinders, filling machines, and other manual or semi-automatic machinery.
- Adjust machine settings and monitor production operations for consistent product quality.
Safety and Quality
- Safely load, unload, store, and handle raw materials and finished products.
- Use required personal protective equipment and handling equipment for hazardous materials.
- Conduct in-process quality checks, report deviations, and assist with corrective actions.
Cleaning and Records
- Clean production equipment and areas to prevent cross-contamination between batches.
- Clean tanks, mixers, pumps, and other equipment using designated solvents.
- Label and dispose of waste according to environmental and safety regulations.
