Work at Kerry's Owatonna dry beverage facility producing agglomerated or coated nutraceutical and functional food ingredients.
The Production Operative follows formulas and operates equipment to manufacture dry blended ingredients efficiently and within specifications.
Work arrangement
- This is a full-time, on-site production role in Owatonna, Minnesota.
- The schedule is 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday.
- Overtime is available and usually not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Follow formulas and operate production and processing equipment.
- Pull and measure raw materials and use lift trucks or cranes as needed.
- Monitor and document production results.
- Maintain safe processes and comply with applicable regulations and policies.
- Communicate consistently with the production team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Food or chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Electric pallet jack experience and safety certification are preferred.
- Reliable attendance, self-motivation, conscientiousness, teamwork, and effective communication are expected.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems.
- Ability to complete required certifications.
- MS products, Excel, and SAP experience are preferred.
Compensation
- The hiring rate is $20.50 per hour.
