Position Overview
Lead apparel product development, production management, quality control, supplier management, and luxury garment standards.
Manage the full production and development process across internal and external manufacturing partners.
Product Development
- Manage development from initial design concept through final approved production sample.
- Review technical feasibility, construction, fit, finishing, fabrics, trims, accessories, and production methods.
- Coordinate first samples, fit samples, revised samples, pre-production samples, and size sets.
- Review patterns and coordinate corrections with pattern makers and production teams.
Production Management
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor production from order confirmation through final delivery.
- Maintain production schedules, monitor capacity and output, and identify delays and risks early.
- Allocate production to factories, workshops, tailors, and suppliers based on capability, quality, capacity, and delivery requirements.
- Escalate risks, delays, quality concerns, and capacity issues with proposed solutions.
