Production Manager

Our company is currently searching a member to join our Production team as a Production Manager who will work to provide support across our plant.

This position will work within a team of other production staff and will be based in our Chicago, IL facility.

This role will require candidates to be able to work Monday - Friday typically 6am - 2:30pm and other times as needed to meet business needs.

• Ensure all production lines are operating at proper speeds and proper output levels while adhering to company's established quality policies and productivity standards.
• Oversee all production supervisors, crews, and janitorial staff
• Maintain efficient and safe working conditions of all machines
• Manage all plant start-up and shutdown procedures
• Ensure all quality control procedures are implemented and adhered to company standards
• Manage raw material receiving procedures and notify management of any concerns
• Ensure strict compliance and adherence to all established health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Manage and coordinate production schedules and provide completion estimates based on manpower and equipment availability.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain machine functionality
• Ability to coach and train new hires and production supervisors on all machines and continually develop existing employees on building proficiency.
• Manage employee disciplinary and accountability procedures when needed
• Proper understanding of raw materials and verify correct blend of materials for each product line.
