Role Overview

Production and Factory Operations

• Develops strategies and plans for factory progress, production improvement, and growth.
• Schedules building and equipment maintenance and monitors factory-floor performance.
• Ensures production orders are completed on time.
• Analyzes production data to identify and resolve production issues.
• Ensures factory machinery remains in good working order.
• Monitors output and schedules, adjusts resources, and maximizes efficiency.

Leadership and Workforce

• Determines manpower potential, authority lines, and information channels for efficient operations.
• Screens, recruits, and trains new factory workers.
• Supervises and motivates factory team leaders and supervisory staff.
• Delegates tasks and sets deadlines as needed.
• Collaborates with stakeholders, senior management, and external partners or advisors.

Quality, Safety, and Compliance

• Enforces health, safety, legality, quality, sanitation, and food-safety standards.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing safety regulations.
• Ensures environmental guidelines are followed to avoid unnecessary penalties.
• Works with the Quality Control Manager to establish and execute quality-control processes.

Change, Systems, and Reporting

• Implements strategic plans and procedures to improve operational quality and consistency.
• Creates a systematic approach to change management and related procedures.
• Oversees new technologies and processes in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Uses appropriate systems for production management, analysis, and documentation.
• Prepares reports for the General Manager covering operations, achievements, initiatives, and milestones.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business or an equivalent qualification is required.
• An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Business Administration is advantageous.
• Requires 12 years of relevant trading-industry experience, including at least 5 years in management.
• Requires experience in the GCC.
• Requires excellent knowledge of frozen and chilled meat product processing.
• Requires leadership, project management, multicultural personnel, stakeholder collaboration, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.

Workplace

• The role involves regular work on the factory floor and management of manufacturing processes in Doha.
